Killa (Interchange)

Learn to defeat Killa in Interchange, Escape from Tarkov. Understand his patrol routes, Killa armor and helmet, and tactics for his RPK-16 or PP-19-01 Vityaz.

Location:

Killa patrols the central areas of Interchange, primarily around the 'Kiba Arms' store, 'OLI', 'IDEA', and 'Goshan' stores. He is often found in the underground parking garage as well.

Loadout:

Killa is heavily armored, wearing a Class 5-6 Killa armor and a Class 5 Killa helmet (which covers his face). He wields a highly modded RPK-16 or PP-19-01 Vityaz, often with a drum magazine. He is extremely aggressive and will sprint and slide into cover.

Strategy:

  • Leg Meta: Killa's armor is almost impenetrable. The most effective strategy is to aim for his unarmored legs. Use high-flesh damage ammo (e.g., 9x19 RIP, 5.45x39 HP, 7.62x39 HP) and spray his legs.
  • Headshots: If you can get a clean shot, his visor can be penetrated by high-penetration ammo (e.g., 7.62x54R 7N1, .308 M61, 5.45x39 BS). However, this is risky due to his aggressive movement.
  • Grenades: Flashbangs can disorient him, allowing for leg shots. Fragmentation grenades can also deal damage.
  • Loot: Killa drops his unique armor and helmet, his weapon, and often a Kiba store key. He also has a chance to drop a Labs keycard.

Killa is one of the toughest bosses. Patience and precise aiming (or leg spraying) are key. Avoid engaging him in open areas.
