Rigs & Implants

Rigs are permanent ship modifications that provide significant bonuses but often come with drawbacks. They are fitted in dedicated rig slots and cannot be removed without destroying them. Examples include 'Ancillary Current Routers' (power grid), 'Trimark Armor Pump' (armor HP), or 'Projectile Burst Aerator' (projectile damage). Implants are cybernetic enhancements fitted to your character, providing passive skill bonuses or direct attribute boosts. They range from cheap 'Attribute Enhancers' to expensive 'Hardwiring' implants that boost specific ship stats. Be aware that implants are lost upon capsule destruction.
