  • Pirate Faction Ships: These are hybrid designs, blending the strengths of two different major empires. Pirate Faction ships are usually acquired as rare drops from specific NPC encounters, through LP stores of pirate factions (e.g., Guristas, Serpentis, Angel Cartel), or purchased on the market. The Dramiel (Angel Cartel) and Gila (Guristas) are prime examples.
  • Sisters of EVE (SoE) Ships: These vessels, like the Astero and Stratios, are renowned for their exploration and cloaking capabilities. They often feature bonuses to drone damage, scanning strength, and warp core strength. SoE ships are primarily obtained through the Sisters of EVE LP store or the market.
  • Concord / Edencom Ships: These are high-end, powerful ships, often requiring significant investment and specific standings to acquire. They represent the pinnacle of certain ship classes and offer unparalleled performance.

Acquisition Strategies

Acquiring factional ships often requires a dedicated approach. Here's a breakdown of common strategies:

1. Loyalty Point (LP) Stores

This is the most common method for obtaining Navy Faction and some Pirate Faction ships.

  1. Choose Your Faction: Decide which faction's ships you want. For example, if you're interested in the Vexor Navy Issue, you'll need to work with the Gallente Federation or their navy.
  2. Earn Loyalty Points:
    • Mission Running: Accept missions from agents belonging to your chosen faction. Higher-level missions (Level 3 and 4) offer significantly more LP. Focus on agents in high-security space initially to minimize risk.
    • Faction Warfare (FW): Participating in Faction Warfare is an excellent way to earn large amounts of LP quickly, especially if you enjoy PvP. Join a militia (e.g., Gallente Federation Militia) and capture plexes or engage enemy players. Be aware that FW takes place in low-security space.
