'Everybody's Gone to the Rapture' is a narrative exploration game, and as such, there are no 'characters' in the traditional sense of playable avatars with customizable builds or stats. You play as an unseen observer, Dr. Katherine Collins, whose presence is primarily felt through the first-person perspective and occasional narrative voice-overs.

Instead of character builds, the game focuses on the rich, interconnected stories of the five main inhabitants of Yaughton: Stephen, Frank, Kate, Jeremy, and Lizzie. Understanding their motivations, relationships, and perspectives is key to unraveling the mystery of the Rapture. This section will briefly outline their roles in the narrative.
