In Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, successful investigation hinges on thorough clue gathering and strategic character control. You'll often need to switch between characters like Tyler and Carla to access different areas and uncover crucial evidence. Prioritize finding all clues, even beyond the minimum requirements, to gain a complete understanding of the situation and avoid missing key information.

During the "Investigation" phase (INV5), you can search in the first and second locations with Tyler. To check the third location, you need to control Carla. Once the knife is found, you are ready to leave. With Tyler, talk to your partner and then to the two cops to provide them with a list of clues before entering the car outside.

Before you can leave, you must interrogate the waitress and locate the knife. While this is the minimum, finding all other available clues is highly recommended. Be aware that talking to the bum will not provide useful information and will negatively impact your Mental Health, so this interaction can be skipped if desired.
