Chapter 1: The Murder - Escaping the Diner

Your first major challenge involves covering your tracks after the initial incident. Time is of the essence, and every action counts towards your mental health and avoiding detection.

• Secure the Weapon:
  • Immediately after the cutscene, locate the Bloody Knife on the floor near the victim.
  • Interact with it to pick it up.
  • Proceed to the Men's Restroom (the door to your left as you exit the booth).
  • Inside, interact with the Toilet and select the option to "Flush Knife." This disposes of a key piece of evidence.
• Clean Up the Crime Scene:
  • Return to the main dining area.
  • Examine the Bloody Footprints leading from the booth.
  • Head to the Kitchen (the door opposite the restrooms).
  • On the counter, you'll find a Mop and Bucket. Pick them up.
  • Return to the dining area and use the Mop and Bucket on the Bloody Footprints to clean them.
• Conceal Your Identity:
  • Before leaving, ensure you've changed your appearance.
  • In the Men's Restroom, interact with the Sink.
  • You'll have options to "Wash Hands" (important for evidence) and "Change Clothes." Select "Change Clothes" to swap out of your bloody attire.
  • The Janitor's Uniform is a good choice for blending in.
• Exit Strategy:
  • Once all evidence is dealt with and you've changed, head towards the Back Exit of the diner, located in the kitchen area.
  • Avoid the main entrance, as police will soon be arriving.

Chapter 3: The Day After - Lucas's Apartment

As Lucas, you'll need to manage your mental state and find clues about what happened. This section focuses on a specific puzzle involving a hidden item.

• Locating the Hidden Item:
  • After the initial sequence, you'll be in Lucas's apartment.
  • Go into the Bedroom.
  • Examine the Bedside Table next to the bed.
  • You'll find a Small Key. Pick it up.
  • Now, head to the Living Room.
  • Look for the Desk in the corner.
  • Interact with the Desk and use the Small Key to unlock the Desk Drawer.
  • Inside, you will find the Cassette Tape, which contains crucial information.
• Playing the Cassette:
  • With the Cassette Tape in hand, locate the Stereo System in the Living Room.
  • Interact with the Stereo System and select the option to "Play Cassette."
  • Listen carefully to the recording for vital plot details.

Chapter 5: The Psychiatrist - Finding the File

Playing as Carla Valenti, you'll need to gather information from a psychiatrist's office. This involves a bit of stealth and observation.

• Gaining Access:
  • Once inside the waiting room, observe the receptionist.
  • Wait for the receptionist to leave her desk, usually to answer a phone call or attend to another patient.
  • This is your window of opportunity.
• Accessing the Computer:
  • Quickly move to the Receptionist's Desk.
  • Interact with the Computer.
  • You'll need to guess the password. The password is often related to common themes or the psychiatrist's name. Try "FREUD" or "PSYCHE" first. If those fail, look for clues around the desk, such as a sticky note or a calendar entry. (Hint: The password is "FREUD").
  • Once logged in, navigate the menu to find "Patient Files."
  • Search for "Lucas Kane."
  • Download or print the relevant file if the option is available, otherwise, simply read through the information.
• Exiting Stealthily:
  • Ensure you log out of the computer and leave the desk exactly as you found it.
  • Return to your seat or exit the office before the receptionist returns to avoid suspicion.
