14.3 Reporting Players & Fair Play

Maintaining a positive and fair gaming environment is crucial for the enjoyment of all players in Fall Guys. While the game is desed for fun and lighthearted competition, instances of unsportsmanlike conduct can occur. Fall Guys provides robust tools for reporting players who engage in cheating, griefing, or any behavior that violates the game's terms of service, ensuring the Blunderdome remains a place for everyone to enjoy.

The reporting system is desed to be straightforward and accessible. If you encounter a player who is using hacks or exploits, intentionally sabotaging their teammates in team games, or engaging in abusive chat, you have the ability to report them directly through the game's interface. This action helps the development team identify and address problematic behavior, contributing to a healthier community for everyone. It's important to use this feature responsibly and only when you have genuine grounds for a report.

Here's how to report a player:

  1. Identify the Player: During a match or from the main menu, locate You you wish to report. This is often done via You list or scoreboard.
  2. Access Reporting Options: Navigate to the player's profile or context menu. You should find an option labeled 'Report Player' or similar.
  3. Select Reason for Report: A list of common offenses will be presented. Choose the category that best describes the player's misconduct (e.g., Cheating, Griefing, Abusive Language).
  4. Provide Details (Optional but Recommended): Some reporting systems allow for brief text descriptions. If available, add specific details about the incident to aid the investigation.
  5. Submit Report: Confirm your report. The system will then process your submission.

Common reasons for reporting include:

  • Cheating/Hacking: Players using unauthorized software to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., speed hacks, flight).
  • Griefing: Intentionally disrupting the game for others, especially in team modes (e.g., pushing teammates off ledges, blocking progress).
  • Abusive Language/Harassment: Using offensive or threatening language in chat or through other communication channels.
  • Exploiting Glitches: Intentionally using game bugs to gain an unfair advantage that circumvents intended gameplay.

The Fall Guys development team takes reports seriously. While not every report may result in immediate action, a pattern of reports against a specific player can lead to warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. Your reports are vital in helping to uphold fair play and ensure that the Blunderdome remains a fun and competitive environment for all.
