Sometimes Slow and Steady Wins the Race
In a game that often feels like a mad dash, patience is an incredibly powerful tool. Rushing blindly into obstacles or crowds is a common cause of elimination. Consider these scenarios:
- Swinging Obstacles: Instead of trying to squeeze past a swinging hammer, wait for it to pass. A few seconds lost is better than being knocked off the map.
- Crowded Chokepoints: In rounds like Slime Climb or Wall Guys, if a path is completely blocked by other players, sometimes it's better to wait for the crowd to clear slightly rather than getting pushed off.
- See Saw: Don't jump onto a heavily tilted see-saw. Wait for it to level out or for other players to balance it.
- Door Dash: Let others test the doors. Being second or third through a confirmed open door is safer than being first through a fake one.
Knowing when to pause and observe can often lead to a more consistent qualification rate.
