The "Secrets Revealed" quest is the third major new storyline quest in Fallout 76's Wastelanders update. This quest begins after completing "Hunter for Hire" and speaking with Duchess. It involves navigating Vault 79, rescuing trapped Secret Service agents, and making crucial decisions regarding Gold Bullion distribution, which impacts faction reputation.

Secrets Revealed Quest Walkthrough

To start "Secrets Revealed," complete the "Hunter for Hire" quest and then talk to Duchess. This quest is a central part of the Wastelanders main story, leading you through the intro series of quests.

The quest involves entering the secure section of Vault 79. You will need to use a code on a keypad to enter and then figure out how to restore power to the vault. Inside, you will encounter trapped Secret Service agents.

A key decision point in this quest involves Digger. You can decide Digger's fate, which may require passing a Charisma 7+ check. After this, AC offers a deal: Gold Bullion in exchange for advanced Secret Service technologies. AC also explains his plan to re-establish currency to rebuild the USA after the Great War.

Upon resolving Digger's fate, the Secret Service survivors relocate to the Gold Operations Center of the Vault. If Digger is spared, he returns to the reactor's control room to maintain power. Paige or Meg will then appear to finalize the Gold Bullion deal. You have three options for distributing the 1000 Gold Bullion:

• Option 1: Give 500 Bullion to the allied faction. This results in a massive reputation boost with that faction.
• Option 2: Give 250 Bullion to each faction. This results in a minor reputation boost with both factions.
• Option 3: Keep all 1000 Bullion. This results in a medium reputation loss with the allied faction.

Before finalizing the deal with Paige or Meg, you can speak with allies like Johnny Weston, Radcliff, or Jen to gain their perspectives. Talking to the faction leader again concludes the quest.
