Fallout 76's Seasons system offers a rewarding progression path, allowing players to earn valuable in-game items and cosmetics by gaining S.C.O.R.E. (Supreme Command for Operations and Readiness). As you rank up, you unlock new pages on the Season board, each filled with several rewards that can be claimed using earned Tickets.
Understanding the Seasons System
The Seasons system replaces the old Scoreboard with a more flexible approach. Players earn S.C.O.R.E. by completing daily and weekly challenges, similar to before. Each rank achieved grants Tickets, which are the currency used to claim rewards from unlocked Season Pages. This system provides more agency in choosing which rewards you want to acquire first.
Earning S.C.O.R.E. and Ranking Up
Your primary method of progression is by completing challenges. These range from simple tasks like crafting items or visiting locations to more complex objectives involving combat or exploration. The more challenges you complete, the faster you'll earn S.C.O.R.E. and rank up. Even after reaching the maximum rank (typically 100), you can continue to earn Tickets by ranking up further.
Season Pages and Rewards
Each Season features multiple pages, with rewards becoming progressively more valuable as you advance. You can view all available rewards on each page ahead of time. Once a page is unlocked by reaching a certain rank, you can redeem your Tickets for any reward on that page, in any order you choose. This allows for strategic acquisition of desired items.
Types of Rewards
The rewards offered through the Seasons system are diverse and cater to various playstyles:
- Cosmetics: Unique outfits, weapon skins, C.A.M.P. decorations, and emotes.
- Consumables: Useful items like Stimpaks, Fusion Cores, and crafting materials.
- Perk Cards and Legendary Perk Cards: Enhance your character's abilities.
- In-game Currencies: Such as Caps and Gold Bullion.
- Unique Items: Special items tied to the theme of the current Season.
Using Tickets Effectively
Tickets are your key to claiming rewards. You receive 25 Tickets for each rank you achieve. It's important to use your Tickets before the end of the Season, as they expire. Prioritize the rewards you most desire, whether they are cosmetic items for your character or C.A.M.P., or practical items that will aid your gameplay.
Post-Rank 100 Progression
Even after reaching Rank 100, you can continue to earn S.C.O.R.E. and gain further ranks. These subsequent ranks will award additional Tickets, allowing you to claim more rewards from the Season Pages you've unlocked. This provides continued engagement and opportunities to acquire extra items.
Important Notes
- Currency rewards from the Scoreboard cannot be claimed in Public and Custom Worlds.
- Tickets expire at the end of each Season, so use them.
