After leaving Vault 76, head east towards Flatwoods. Locate the Overseer's Camp and listen to her first holotape. Then, proceed to Flatwoods and find the Responder bot. He'll give you your first tasks, including registering with the Responders and learning basic survival skills. Collect purified water and food from the area to complete these initial objectives.
