Strategy: Ranger Jackson at the Mojave Outpost will give you this quest. You'll need to investigate several NCR Ranger stations that have gone silent. This involves traveling to various locations, fighting off hostiles (often Legionaries or Fiends), and gathering clues. The quest culminates in uncovering a larger plot and dealing with the perpetrators. This quest is a good way to earn NCR reputation and explore the western side of the map.
