Overview: Area-of-effect weapons, excellent for crowd control and dealing with heavily armored targets. Explosives skill governs their effectiveness. Can be dangerous to use at close range.
- Grenades: Thrown weapons with a blast radius. Examples: Frag Grenade, Plasma Grenade, 'Holy Frag Grenade' (unique).
- Mines: Placed traps that detonate when an enemy approaches. Examples: Frag Mine, Bottlecap Mine.
- Launchers: Heavy weapons that fire explosive projectiles. Examples: Grenade Launcher, Missile Launcher, 'Fat Man'.
Modifications: Explosive launchers can sometimes be modified with scopes or extended magazines.
