Deathclaws are the most dangerous incident in Fallout Shelter, appearing once your vault reaches 35+ dwellers and you frequently open your vault door. They have high health, deal massive damage, and move quickly through your vault. Strategy: Your first 2-3 rooms below the vault door should be fully upgraded, merged (if possible), and staffed with your 6 strongest, highest-level dwellers, all equipped with legendary weapons and Endurance-boosting outfits. These dwellers should have maxed S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats, especially Endurance. Spam Stimpaks on them as soon as their health drops. Deathclaws will eventually retreat after taking significant damage or reaching a certain depth. A 'kill corridor' of heavily armed rooms at the top of your vault is the best defense. Avoid opening your vault door unnecessarily if you're not prepared.
