Wasteland explorers need a balanced set of stats, but Endurance (E) is paramount. High Endurance increases their maximum health and reduces radiation damage taken, allowing them to survive longer and explore further. Luck (L) is also very important, as it increases the quantity and quality of loot found. Strength (S) and Perception (P) are useful for combat encounters. Agility (A) can help with escaping some encounters. Train Endurance to 10 as quickly as possible for any dweller you intend to send into the wasteland. Equip them with the best weapons, armor (especially Endurance-boosting outfits), Stimpaks, and RadAway.
