The Beast is a massive, mutated creature encountered in the Springfield mission. It possesses high hit points, powerful melee attacks, and can inflict poison. Its primary weakness is its slow movement speed and lack of ranged attacks. Strategy: Engage The Beast at range. Position your heavy weapons specialist and snipers on elevated positions or behind sturdy cover. Use your fastest character to kite The Beast, drawing its attention while your damage dealers unleash hell. Rocket Launchers and Miniguns are highly effective. If it gets close, use your melee character to tank hits, but be prepared to use multiple Stimpaks. Focus all fire on The Beast; ignore any smaller creatures until it's down. Keep your medic ready to cure poison and heal. Reward: Significant experience and access to the next mission area.
