Effective squad management is the cornerstone of success in Fallout Tactics. You'll eventually command a squad of up to six Brotherhood initiates. Each member has their own SPECIAL stats, skills, and equipment. To manage your squad, click on their portrait at the bottom of the screen to select them individually, or drag a box around multiple members to select them as a group. The 'Formations' button allows you to arrange your squad in various patterns, which is vital for tactical positioning and avoiding friendly fire. Regularly check your squad's inventory, equip them with appropriate weapons and armor, and distribute healing items. Remember to assign specific roles: a heavy weapons specialist, a sniper, a medic, and a scout are common and effective archetypes.
