Weapons in Far Cry 2 are categorized into Primary, Secondary, and Special slots. You can purchase new weapons and upgrades from weapon shops after unlocking them through faction missions. Weapon Condition: All weapons degrade over time with use, leading to jams, reduced accuracy, and eventually breaking. Always check your weapon's condition (indicated by a small bar next to its icon) and replace or repair them at weapon shops. Upgrades: Available for most weapons, upgrades improve accuracy, reliability, and damage. Prioritize reliability upgrades to reduce jams, especially on frequently used weapons. Damage and accuracy upgrades are also highly beneficial. Diamonds are required for all purchases and upgrades.
