Understanding Your Map & HUD

Your map is your best friend in Blood Dragon. Pressing the designated button (check your controls, soldier!) will bring up a detailed overview of the island. Key elements to pay attention to include:

• Outposts: These enemy strongholds are marked with red icons. Capturing them is crucial for unlocking fast travel points, revealing more of the map, and gaining access to new side missions.
• Collectibles: Various icons will appear for collectibles like TV sets, VHS tapes, and doctor bags. Prioritize these for upgrades and achievements.
• Mission Markers: Main story missions are typically marked with a large yellow star, while side missions will have different, often smaller, icons.

On Foot

Vehicles

Outpost Capture Strategy

1. Reconnaissance: Before engaging, use your binoculars (hold down the aim button) to tag all enemies, alarms, and environmental hazards. This is crucial for planning your approach.
2. Disable Alarms: Prioritize destroying alarm systems. If an alarm is triggered, reinforcements will arrive, making the outpost much harder to clear. Alarms are typically marked with a siren icon.
3. Stealth or Assault:
