Garrison Outposts are mini-fortresses controlled by the Omega Force. Liberating them is a crucial side activity that provides several benefits. Once an outpost is liberated, it becomes a safe zone, a fast travel point, and a resupply station where you can purchase ammo and armor. It also reduces enemy presence in the surrounding area.
To liberate an outpost, you must eliminate all Omega Force soldiers within its perimeter. You can approach this stealthily or with a full-frontal assault. Stealth is often rewarded with bonus cash and experience, especially if you can disable the alarm system before being detected. Use your binoculars to tag enemies and identify alarm panels. Prioritize taking out snipers and heavy gunners. Luring Blood Dragons into outposts with cyber-hearts is a highly effective, albeit chaotic, strategy. After all enemies are defeated, the outpost will be secured, and a friendly resistance fighter will appear.
