The Heads-Up Display (HUD) provides crucial information about your current status, objectives, and surroundings. Keeping an eye on these elements will help you stay alive and on track:
- Health Bar (Bottom Left): Your current health. When it depletes, you die. Use syringes (Q) to restore health.
- Armor Bar (Below Health): Represents your current armor. Armor reduces incoming damage. It can be replenished by picking up armor packs.
- Syringe Count (Next to Health): Shows how many healing syringes you have available.
- Weapon Information (Bottom Right): Displays your currently equipped weapon, its ammo count, and the total ammo you're carrying for that weapon.
- Mini-Map (Top Left): Shows your immediate surroundings, enemy positions (once spotted), objective markers, and points of interest.
- Objective Tracker (Top Center/Right): Keeps track of your current mission objectives.
- Stealth Indicator (Center Bottom): A small eye icon that indicates your visibility to enemies. Open eye means you're visible, closed eye means you're hidden.
- Grenade/Molotov Count (Above Weapon Info): Shows how many throwable explosives you have.
Pay close attention to the mini-map, especially when infiltrating enemy outposts. Red icons indicate enemies, and their cone of vision will be visible if they are actively searching for you. The stealth indicator is vital for silent takedowns and avoiding detection. check your ammo frequently, as running out in a firefight can be deadly.
