Understanding the Upgrade System

Unlike traditional crafting where you gather raw materials, Blood Dragon's upgrades are primarily tied to two core mechanics:

Collecting Money: The universal currency of destruction. Money is earned by completing missions, looting fallen enemies, opening supply crates, and liberating garrisons.
Achieving Levels: As Rex gains experience from kills, mission completion, and side objectives, he'll level up. Each level grants a passive bonus, often improving health, damage, or stealth.

There is no dedicated crafting menu in the traditional sense. All weapon upgrades are purchased directly from weapon lockers, and character enhancements are automatically applied as you level up.

Weapon Upgrades

Your primary method of enhancing your firepower comes from upgrading your weapons. Each weapon in your arsenal has a series of upgrades available that improve its performance. These upgrades are purchased using the money you collect.

How to Upgrade Weapons:

Character Upgrades (Leveling Up)

Rex "Power" Colt is a cybernetic super-soldier, and as such, he doesn't "craft" personal enhancements. Instead, his abilities automatically improve as he gains experience and levels up. There's no skill tree to navigate; simply play the game, earn XP, and watch Rex become an even more formidable force.

How to Gain Experience:

Completing Story Missions: The most significant source of XP.
Liberating Garrisons: Each garrison cleared provides a substantial XP boost.
Completing Side Quests: These optional objectives, often found at liberated garrisons, offer good XP rewards.
Killing Enemies: Every Omega Force soldier, Blood Dragon, and other hostile creature you dispatch grants a small amount of XP. Headshots and stealth takedowns often yield bonus XP.
