In this pivotal mission, Sergeant Rex "Power" Colt and T.T. "Spider" Brown infiltrate a secret Omega Force research facility to uncover the truth behind Sloan’s blood-serum experiments. The mission marks a significant difficulty spike as it introduces Running Dead enemies—zombified cyber-soldiers who attack in relentless melee swarms. Unlike standard Omega Force grunts, these enemies are fast and erratic; using the Fazertron or the Galleria 1991 shotgun is highly recommended for close-quarters crowd control. Your primary objective is to navigate the mutagen-soaked laboratories, retrieve encrypted data from three different terminals, and survive a high-intensity extraction sequence.
Objectives and Strategy
- Infiltrate the Facility: Use stealth near the entrance to pick off the snipers with your Kobracon. Alerting the base early will result in heavy reinforcements, including heavy gunners.
- The Mutagen Vats: You will encounter "treacherous environments" consisting of glowing neon sludge. Touching this liquid drains your cyber-shield instantly and quickly eats away at your health bars. Stick to the catwalks and use your Cyber-Eye (V/RS) to tag Running Dead hiding behind crates.
- Defend Spider: While Spider hacks the main mainframe, you must hold off waves of Omega Force soldiers. This is a perfect time to use Global Dragon Health syringes to stay in the fight. Aim for the glowing "Blood Dragon" canisters scattered around the room to trigger explosions that clear entire squads.
- The Escape: Once the facility begins to self-destruct, don't stop to fight every enemy. Sprint toward the exit and use your Terror Shield if you have it unlocked to mitigate damage from trailing stragglers.
