Always prioritize carrying a diverse loadout: one silenced weapon, one assault rifle, and one heavy weapon (shotgun, sniper, or rocket launcher) is generally recommended. Collect ammunition from fallen enemies whenever possible, as it's your primary source. Medkits and armor vests are also vital; always pick them up. Don't be afraid to swap out weapons if you find something better or if you're running low on ammo for your current primary. For example, if you're entering a Trigen-heavy area, ensure you have a shotgun with plenty of shells. Your 'build' is essentially your current inventory and how you choose to utilize it.
