While many mercenary outposts are part of the main mission objectives, some smaller ones are scattered across the map and can be revisited. Clearing these out, even after the main objective is complete, can provide additional ammunition and health pickups. While they don't offer specific 'side quests' in the traditional sense, they serve as excellent opportunities to practice combat skills, experiment with different weapons, and gather resources. Be aware that enemies in these outposts will often respawn after a certain amount of time or if you leave the area and return, making them a continuous source of combat practice.
