Stealth is a powerful tool in Far Cry, especially against large groups of mercenaries. Line of Sight (LOS): Enemies primarily detect you based on LOS. Stay behind cover, in dense foliage, or use the terrain to break their view. Sound: Running, shooting unsuppressed weapons, and driving vehicles generate noise that can alert enemies. Crouch (C) or go prone (Ctrl) to reduce your sound signature. Light: Using your flashlight in dark areas can reveal your position. Alarm Panels: Many mercenary outposts have red alarm panels. Destroying these (usually with a few shots) prevents reinforcements from being called if you're detected. Body Disposal: While not explicitly a mechanic, leaving bodies in plain sight can sometimes alert patrolling guards. Consider moving them to concealed locations if you're aiming for perfect stealth. Observe patrol patterns before engaging.
