The Flame Lizard is a massive, fire-breathing beast that guards the fiery depths of Kilanda. It is a powerful elemental foe, immune to its own element and capable of devastating fire attacks.
Phases & Attacks:
- Inferno Breath: Breathes a massive cone of fire, covering a large area. This is its signature and most dangerous attack.
- Tail Swipe: Swipes its tail if you're behind it.
- Claw Swipe: Powerful melee attacks if you're close.
- Fireball Volley: Launches multiple fireballs.
Weaknesses & Strategy:
The Flame Lizard is immune to Fire magic. It is weak to Blizzard magic. Yukes and Clavats with high-tier Blizzard spells (Blizzaga fusion is ideal) will be your main damage dealers. Melee characters should try to stay to its sides or behind it, focusing on its legs or body, but always be ready to dodge its tail swipe. Its Inferno Breath is highly telegraphed; when you see it preparing this, run to its sides or behind its head to avoid the blast. In multiplayer, coordinating Blizzaga spells can quickly bring it down. Keep healing and be prepared for a long fight. Collect the Myrrh drop after its defeat.
