The Kraken is a multi-tentacled beast that dominates the watery arena of Conall Curach. This fight requires you to deal with multiple targets before you can directly attack the main boss.
Phases & Attacks:
- Tentacle Swipes: Its tentacles will sweep across the arena, dealing damage.
- Ink Spray: Sprays ink, which can inflict Blind status.
- Water Spout: Summons water spouts from the ground.
- Body Slam: Occasionally lifts its body and slams it down.
Weaknesses & Strategy:
The Kraken is weak to Thunder magic. Your primary objective in the first phase is to destroy its tentacles. Each tentacle has its own HP bar. Once all tentacles are defeated, the Kraken's head will become vulnerable. Focus all your Thunder magic and physical attacks on its head during this phase. Be mindful of the ink spray and water spouts, which can make targeting difficult. In multiplayer, assign players to different tentacles or have one player focus on healing while others attack. After defeating the Kraken, collect the Myrrh drop.
