The Lich is a powerful undead sorcerer found in the haunted ruins of Tida. This boss relies heavily on dark magic and summoning minions, making it a challenging magical encounter.
Phases & Attacks:
- Dark Magic Spells: Casts various dark elemental spells, including Dark and Gravity.
- Curse: Can inflict the Curse status, which reduces your stats.
- Summon Skeletons/Ghosts: Summons undead minions to fight alongside him.
- Teleport: Teleports around the arena, making him hard to pin down.
Weaknesses & Strategy:
The Lich is highly vulnerable to Holy magic. Yukes and Clavats with Holy rings should be your main damage dealers. Melee characters should prioritize taking out his summoned minions first to prevent being overwhelmed. Once the minions are dealt with, focus on the Lich. He will often teleport after taking damage, so be prepared to chase him. Dodge his dark magic spells, as they can be very damaging. In multiplayer, one player can focus on minion control while others concentrate on the Lich. Keep your HP up and use Esuna or Remedies to cure Curse. Collect the Myrrh drop after his defeat.
