Artifacts are temporary boosts, but they are the foundation for permanent Relic stat gains. To maximize your relic collection, you need to be strategic about which artifacts you choose at the end of each dungeon. The game offers a selection of artifacts, and each player can pick one. The higher your score in the dungeon, the better the selection of artifacts.

- Prioritize Core Stats: For melee characters (Lilty, Clavat), prioritize Strength and Defense artifacts. For mages (Yuke), prioritize Magic and MP. For Selkies, focus on Dexterity and Speed.
- HP & Command Slots: HP artifacts are universally useful. Command Slot artifacts are also excellent, as they allow you to equip more spells and items.
- Replay Dungeons: Don't hesitate to replay dungeons, especially if you're close to a relic threshold (e.g., needing one more Strength artifact for a permanent +1 Strength).
- High Score for Better Selection: Aim for a high score in dungeons by defeating all enemies, opening all chests, and completing the dungeon quickly. A higher score often presents a better selection of artifacts, including rare ones.
- Coordinate in Multiplayer: In multiplayer, discuss with your party who needs which artifacts. For example, if a Lilty needs Strength and a Yuke needs Magic, try to ensure both get their desired artifacts from the selection.
The cumulative effect of relics is substantial. A character with maxed-out relics will be significantly more powerful than one who hasn't focused on them, making late-game and post-game content much more manageable.
