With the ship, you can now sail to the continent to the west. Your next major objective is to find the Earth Crystal. Land your ship near the town of Elfheim. In Elfheim, you'll learn about the sleeping Elf Prince and the need for a special item to awaken him. This side quest is crucial for obtaining a key item later. Your main goal, however, is the Earth Cave, located to the west of Elfheim. This dungeon is significantly more challenging than the Chaos Shrine, featuring stronger enemies and a more complex layout. Be prepared with healing items and appropriate spells.
