Magic in Final Fantasy I uses a slot-based system, meaning you have a limited number of casts per spell level. Choose your spells wisely! For White Mages, prioritize healing (CURA series) and defensive spells (RUSE, INVS). For Black Mages, focus on elemental damage (FIR, ICE, LIT series) and status effects (SLP, STUN). Red Mages should balance both. Always keep a few Ethers on hand for emergencies. Don't be afraid to use lower-level spells for regular encounters to conserve higher-level spells for bosses. The FADE and NUKE spells are incredibly powerful but consume high-level slots.
