Upon waking in Altair, speak with Princess Hilda. She will ask you to join the rebellion. Accept her offer. Explore the town: visit the Item Shop to stock up on Potions and Antidotes, and the Weapon/Armor Shop to equip your characters. visit the Magic Shop; even if you can't afford spells yet, it's good to know what's available. Speak to Minwu, the White Mage, who will become your first guest character. He provides crucial healing and support. Before leaving, make sure you've spoken to everyone and learned the keyword 'Wild Rose'. This will be important for your next objective. Practice some battles near Altair to get a feel for the combat system and start building your stats.
