The Job System allows your four Light Warriors to change their roles at almost any time. Each job has a unique set of stat bonuses, equipment proficiencies, and special abilities. As a character gains Job Levels in a specific job (by earning Capacity Points in battle), their proficiency with that job increases, leading to better stat growth and sometimes unlocking new abilities. Early jobs like Warrior, Monk, White Mage, and Black Mage are foundational. Mid-game jobs like Thief, Knight, Scholar, and Geomancer offer more specialized roles. Late-game jobs such as Dragoon, Dark Knight, Summoner, Sage, and Ninja are incredibly powerful and often essential for the toughest battles.

When changing jobs, there's a temporary stat penalty that gradually diminishes over a few battles. This encourages thoughtful job changes rather than constant swapping. Consider the synergy between jobs; for example, a Knight can protect weaker mages, while a White Mage can keep the entire party healthy. Don't be afraid to experiment, but also recognize that mastering a few key jobs for each character can be more effective than constantly switching.
