Upon leaving Baron Castle, head south on the overworld map until you reach the entrance to the Mist Cave. This is your first dungeon, and it introduces you to basic combat mechanics. Inside, you'll encounter various weak enemies like Goblin and Floating Eye. Use Cecil's 'Attack' command to dispatch them. Remember to open all treasure chests you find; they often contain Potions or Gil. As you progress deeper into the cave, you'll encounter a mysterious Mist Dragon. This is your first boss battle. The Mist Dragon is vulnerable to physical attacks when it's in its solid form. When it transforms into mist, do NOT attack it, as it will counter with a powerful breath attack. Wait for it to solidify again before resuming your assault. After defeating the Mist Dragon, proceed through the cave to the village of Mist. A tragic event will unfold, leading to the introduction of Rydia.
