To tackle the game's tougher challenges, efficient leveling and Gil farming are essential. For leveling, early in the game, focus on areas with high encounter rates and enemies that give good experience, such as the areas around Mt. Hobs or the Antlion's Den. Later, the Tower of Babil (especially the upper floors) and the Lunar Subterrane offer excellent experience. The best method for late-game leveling is often found in the optional dungeons like the Cave of Summons or the Lunar Ruins (if applicable to your version), where enemies yield massive experience points. For Gil farming, selling excess equipment found in dungeons or dropped by enemies is a consistent source. Later in the game, certain enemies drop valuable items that can be sold for a high price. For example, the 'Silver Apple' dropped by some enemies in the Lunar Subterrane can be sold for a good amount. Another strategy is to repeatedly fight enemies that drop high-value items, such as the 'Bomb' enemies for Bomb Fragments, which sell well. Always keep an eye out for enemies that drop rare or valuable items.
