Dragon Tech (Freya) Guide
Freya Crescent, the enigmatic dragoon from Burmecia, brings a unique and potent set of abilities to your party with her Dragon Tech skills. These powerful attacks are central to her combat effectiveness, allowing her to deal sificant damage and disrupt enemy formations. Mastering Freya's Dragon Tech is key to unlocking her full potential and ensuring your party's success in challenging encounters. Her sature ability is Dragon Breath, a potent attack that deals considerable damage to all enemies on screen. This skill consumes 40 MP and is invaluable for clearing out groups of weaker foes or softening up tougher opponents. Another crucial Dragon Tech is Dragon Crest, which targets a single enemy with a powerful blow, costing 25 MP. This is ideal for focusing down high-priority targets or bosses. Freya also possesses Dragon Dive, a devastating attack that deals massive damage to a single foe, but requires her to leap into the air, leaving her vulnerable for a turn before striking. This ability costs 50 MP and is best used when you can afford the setup time and have other party members to protect her.
To effectively utilize Freya's Dragon Tech, it's important to manage her MP reserves. Consider equipping abilities that boost MP or reduce MP consumption, such as MP Attack Up or Concentrate. Furthermore, understanding enemy elemental weaknesses can amplify the effectiveness of her attacks. While her Dragon Techs are primarily physical in nature, some may have secondary elemental properties that can be exploited. For instance, if an enemy is weak to fire, and a particular Dragon Tech has a fire component, its impact will be sificantly increased. Freya's role often involves being a primary damage dealer, and her Dragon Techs are the tools to achieve this. Learning the optimal times to unleash these abilities, whether to clear trash mobs with Dragon Breath or to deliver a finishing blow with Dragon Dive, will sificantly enhance your party's combat efficiency. Her unique jump attacks, a staple of the dragoon class, also synergize with her Dragon Tech, allowing for high-risk, high-reward offensive strategies.
