Deep Dungeon (Midlight's Deep) Walkthrough
Midlight's Deep, often referred to as the "Deep Dungeon," is an optional, multi-level dungeon accessible late in the game. It's a challenging gauntlet desed to test your party's strength and strategic depth. Each floor presents unique environmental hazards and powerful enemy formations. Success here yields some of the best equipment and rare items in the game.
The dungeon consists of 10 floors, each with a specific battle objective. The enemies encountered here are typically high-level and possess advanced job classes. It's highly recommended to have a well-rounded party with diverse abilities, including strong offensive capabilities, healing, and status effect management. Jobs like Mime, Calculator, and specialized mages can be incredibly useful.
Floor 1: The First Floor often features a mix of common enemies but at higher levels. Focus on clearing them efficiently to conserve resources for later floors.
Floor 2: The Second Floor might introduce more specialized enemies, such as Geomancers or Archers, requiring careful positioning to avoid concentrated attacks.
Floor 3: The Third Floor can present terrain challenges. Pay attention to elevation and any elemental properties of the ground.
Floor 4: The Fourth Floor typically involves a more complex enemy composition, perhaps including powerful mages or knights. Prioritize eliminating threats that can deal area-of-effect damage.

Floor 9: The Ninth Floor is a sificant challenge, often pitting you against a formidable group of enemies. This is where you'll want to deploy your strongest strategies and character builds.
Floor 10: The Final Floor of Midlight's Deep is the ultimate test. It typically features a boss-like encounter or an extremely difficult wave of enemies. Victory here rewards you with powerful items, such as the Chantage accessory or the Robes of the Dark Dragon.
