Poaching is a lucrative side activity that allows you to obtain rare items from monsters. To poach, a unit must have the 'Poach' support ability equipped (learned from the Hunter job). When a monster is defeated by a unit with Poach, it will sometimes drop a rare item instead of disappearing. These items can then be sold at the Fur Shop in various towns.
Different monsters yield different poached items, some of which are exclusive and cannot be obtained elsewhere. This is an excellent way to earn gil and acquire powerful equipment or crafting materials. Experiment with poaching different monster types to discover all the rare drops.
