The Imperial Trooper is one of the first 'mini-boss' encounters you'll face, often at the end of Chapter 1. While not a true boss, it serves as an introduction to more challenging enemy types.

Phases & Attacks:
- Phase 1 (100%-50% HP): The Trooper will primarily use standard rifle fire and occasional melee attacks if you get too close. It has a shield that blocks frontal attacks.
- Phase 2 (Under 50% HP): The Trooper may become more aggressive, using a grenade launcher or a stronger melee combo.
Weaknesses & Strategy:
- Weakness: Vulnerable to attacks from behind.
- Recommended Cadets: Ace (ranged damage, mobility), Jack (high melee damage for Break Sights), Queen (balanced damage and healing).
- Strategy:
- Flank the Enemy: The Trooper's shield makes frontal attacks ineffective. Use fast characters like Ace or Rem to circle around and attack from the back.
- Exploit Break Sight: Watch for the red reticle when it's about to fire its rifle or reload. A successful Break Sight will stun it, allowing for free hits.
- Magic: Fire magic can be effective, but physical attacks from behind are generally more reliable.
- Dodge & Weave: Stay mobile to avoid its rifle fire and grenades.
This fight is a good test of your ability to reposition and exploit enemy vulnerabilities. Don't get caught in its line of fire, and always look for opportunities to attack its exposed back.
