Gogo's Mimic & Learn Abilities
Gogo, the enigmatic mimic from Final Fantasy VI, possesses a unique set of abilities centered around imitation, allowing them to perfectly replicate the actions of other party members or even learn specific skills. This makes Gogo an incredibly versatile character, capable of filling almost any role within the party.
Gogo's primary ability is 'Mimic.' When used, Gogo will perform the exact same action that the last character in the party executed. This means Gogo can cast any spell, use any item, or perform any special ability that another party member has access to. This allows for incredible flexibility, enabling Gogo to act as a secondary healer, a powerful mage, or even a physical attacker depending on the party's needs and the last action taken.
Beyond Mimic, Gogo can also learn 'Lores' from Strago. These are special abilities that Strago learns by being hit by enemy magic. By equipping Gogo with the 'Lore' command (learned from the Odin or Raiden Magicite), he can learn these spells, further expanding his already vast repertoire. This allows Gogo to access powerful offensive and defensive magic that might otherwise be unavailable to the rest of the party.
Maximizing Gogo's Potential:
- Strategic Mimicry: Ensure the character whose action you want Gogo to mimic acts last.
- Role Flexibility: Use Mimic to double up on healing, offensive magic, or buffs.
- Lore Acquisition: Seek out enemies that teach valuable Lores for Strago and Gogo.
- Equipment Synergy: Equip Gogo with gear that enhances the abilities he's most likely to mimic or learn.
- Party Composition: Gogo's effectiveness is amplified when paired with characters who have diverse and powerful abilities.
By understanding and strategically utilizing Gogo's Mimic and Learn abilities, You can create a highly adaptable and powerful party member capable of overcoming any challenge.
