Doom Gaze is a recurring optional boss that appears randomly on the World of Ruin's airship map. Each time you encounter him, he will have less HP than the last. He uses powerful magic like 'Death' and 'Northern Cross'. Equip Ribbons to protect against status effects. Use powerful physical attacks and non-elemental magic. He is weak to Fire. Keep chasing him down until his HP is depleted. Defeating him rewards you with the Bahamut Esper.
