The Whelk is the first boss you encounter in Narshe. Its shell is impenetrable, so you must attack its head when it emerges. When its shell is open, it will counter physical attacks with 'Clamp', which can deal significant damage. Use Terra's Fire spell and physical attacks from Biggs and Wedge when the head is exposed. When the shell is closed, defend or use items. This fight teaches you the importance of timing and exploiting weaknesses.
