Celes is a former Imperial General and a Rune Knight, giving her innate magic abilities. Her unique 'Runic' command absorbs most magic attacks, converting them into MP. This makes her an excellent counter to magic-heavy bosses. Build her as a versatile magic user, similar to Terra, but also consider her physical attack potential with swords. Espers that teach both offensive and defensive magic, like Carbuncle or Fenrir, are ideal for her. The 'Soul Sabre' weapon synergizes well with Runic.
