Barret is your primary ranged attacker and tank, capable of drawing aggro and dealing consistent damage from a distance. His Overcharge ability is excellent for quickly building ATB. Build him with Vitality and Spirit-boosting Materia to enhance his durability. Provoke Materia can help him maintain aggro. Equip him with long-range offensive Materia like Lightning or Wind to exploit flying enemy weaknesses.
