  • Blood in the Water: Complete Chapter 5.
  • Fool's Paradise: Complete Chapter 6.
  • Those Left Behind: Complete Chapter 7.
  • All That Glitters: Complete Chapter 8.
  • The Planet Stirs: Complete Chapter 9.
  • Watcher of the Vale: Complete Chapter 10.
  • ...and so on, for all subsequent story chapters.

Exploration & Collection Trophies

These trophies reward diligent exploration and discovery across the vast regions of Gaia. Keep an eye out for hidden paths and interact with everything!

  • Chocobo Whisperer: Befriend all Chocobos in the Grasslands.
    • To achieve this, you must complete the "Grasslands Chocobo Ranch" side quest, which becomes available after reaching Kalm. Follow the quest markers to locate the injured Chocobo, Piko, and gather the necessary Gysahl Greens.
  • Regional Explorer: Activate all Remnawave Towers in a single region (e.g., Grasslands).
    • Each region has a set number of Remnawave Towers. Use your Chocobo to traverse the terrain and look for the distinctive red tower icons on your map. Activating them often involves a short combat encounter or a simple puzzle.
  • Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire: Open 50 unique treasure chests.
    • Treasure chests are scattered everywhere – in dungeons, towns, and the open world. Many are obvious, but some are hidden behind destructible objects or in obscure corners. Equip the "Item Sonar" Materia if you're having trouble locating them.
  • Protorelic Purifier: Complete all Protorelic Phenomenon Intel in the Junon Region.
    • Protorelics are unique side activities marked by purple icons on your map. In Junon, these typically involve engaging in various mini-games or combat challenges specific to the region. Completing all four in a region will unlock the trophy.

Combat & Character Trophies

Mastering the intricate combat system and developing your characters are key to these achievements. Experiment with Materia and Synergy abilities!

  • Synergy Master: Execute 10 unique Synergy Abilities.
    • Synergy Abilities are powerful joint attacks. To unlock them, characters must increase their bond levels by fighting together and making specific dialogue choices. Check the "Synergy Skills" menu to see available abilities and their requirements. Practice executing them in combat by filling the Synergy Gauge.
  • Limit Breaker: Use a character's Level 2 Limit Break for the first time.
    • Limit Breaks charge as characters take damage. Level 2 Limit Breaks become available after unlocking specific Folios or progressing further in the story. For Cloud, his Level 2 Limit Break, "Ascension," is a powerful single-target attack.
  • Materia Maven: Max out any single Materia.
    • Materia gains AP (Ability Points) from combat. Equip a Materia like "Fire" or "Healing" early on and keep it equipped. Fight frequently, especially against enemies that grant higher AP. The "AP Up" Materia (found in the Grasslands, near the Mythril Mine entrance) will significantly speed up this process.

Mini-Game & Side Content Trophies

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is packed with engaging mini-games and side quests. Dedicate time to these diversions for unique rewards and trophies.

  • Gongaga Grand Prix Champion: Win the Gold Cup in the Gongaga Chocobo Race.
    • The Gongaga Chocobo Race is a challenging mini-game. Focus on upgrading your Chocobo's stats (Speed, Stamina, and Intellect) by feeding it various greens and equipping optimal gear. Learn the track layouts and use boosts strategically.
  • Card Collector: Obtain 30 unique Queen's Blood cards.
    • Queen's Blood is a strategic card game found throughout the world. Challenge NPCs in towns and settlements. Many side quests also reward unique cards. Always check vendors for new card packs.
  • Phenomenon Master: Complete all "Phenomenon Intel" in every region.
    • This is a significant undertaking! Each region has its own set of unique Phenomenon Intel, often tied to specific mini-games, combat challenges, or unique story beats. For example, the Costa del Sol region features beach-themed activities, while the Corel region has its own distinct challenges. Prioritize these as you explore each new area.
