Chapter 1: The Destruction of Mako Reactor 1 Walkthrough

Chapter 1 introduces Cloud and the game's combat system. The objective is to infiltrate Mako Reactor 1 with AVALANCHE.

  1. Enter the Reactor Grounds: Upon taking control of Cloud, defeat two Security Officer enemies. A tutorial explains basic combat.
  2. Proceed to encounter two more Security Officer enemies. A tutorial on the ATB gauge will appear.
  3. Inside the building, face three more Security Officer enemies. A tutorial on guarding and blocking attacks will be shown. A successful guard reduces damage and fills the ATB gauge.
  4. Head to the second floor. Open the chest to find 2x Potion.
  5. Destroy the Shinra boxes on the right side of the balcony before approaching the group.
