Chapter 1: The Destruction of Mako Reactor 1

The game kicks off with Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER First Class, joining the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE on a mission to blow up Mako Reactor 1. This introductory chapter serves as a tutorial for the combat system.

• Objective: Infiltrate Mako Reactor 1. Follow Barret and the AVALANCHE members through the initial industrial corridors.
• Combat Tutorial: You'll encounter several Security Officers and Guard Dogs. Practice your basic attacks, abilities (like Cloud's Braver), and blocking.
• Item Acquisition:
  • Before entering the reactor proper, look for a chest containing a Potion near a broken pipe.
  • After the first major combat encounter, another chest holds a Phoenix Down.
• Boss Battle: Scorpion Sentinel.
