Limit Breaks Guide
Unleash devastating Limit Breaks to turn the tide of battle in Final Fantasy VIII Remastered. These powerful abilities are triggered when a character's HP is critically low, or can be influenced by the Aura spell. Mastering their activation and execution is key to overcoming the game's toughest challenges.
Each playable character possesses unique Limit Breaks, often tied to their sature weapon. Squall's 'Lionheart' is a prime example, evolving as his weapon is upgraded. To activate a Limit Break, a character must be at low HP. However, the 'Aura' spell sificantly increases the chance of a Limit Break appearing, regardless of HP. Conversely, certain status ailments can prevent them from activating.

Successfully executing these sequences can dramatically increase the potency of the attack. Understanding when and how to use these abilities, and which ones are most effective against specific enemies, is crucial for efficient combat.
