  • Ruins Exploration:
    • In the center of the ruins, find the remains of a long-dead fire.
    • An X-Potion can be found along a semi-hidden path near the eastern door, which is initially unable to open.
    • Examine a desk in the Small Room of the Ruins to find some Flint.
    • Go downstairs in the Ruins: Stairs area to find an Ether.
    • A Withered Bouquet of flowers, usable as tinder for the fire, is found on the wall at the top of the stairs.
    • A Hi-Potion is located in the next area after the stairs.
  • Early Boss - Klikk:

After examining the fire in the Ruins: Hall, the Klikk boss appears.

The Klikk's offense consists mostly of a basic physical attack dealing 75-125 damage. Since the Sphere Grid is not yet accessible and this is the first battle to yield AP, focus on attacking and using Potions to heal.

  • AP Eggs for Triple AP: Play Blitzball to acquire three AP eggs, which triple the AP earned in battle. Obtaining these at the start of Chapter 5 provides a significant advantage for mastering Dresspheres, with progress carrying over to New Game +.
  • Creature Party Tips:
    • Keep at least one character in battle to allow for healing and escaping if necessary.
    • Consider enemy weaknesses and resistances; avoid using Fire Elementals against fire-resistant foes.
    • Fiends with area-of-effect attacks, like Fly Eye or Haizhe, are more useful in the first two chapters than single-target attackers.
    • Do not use creatures against the boss in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth.
    • Customize creatures with useful abilities from Garment Grids and Dresspheres, ensuring they align with the fiend's capabilities.
